At Crestway, we are committed to offering quality, inclusive education within a safe environment. By collaborating closely with all members of our school community, we work to unlock every learner’s potential. We focus on equipping learners with the skills and values they need to make a meaningful impact on society, instilling respect for one another and for the world around us and embracing change as an avenue for improvement.
Our committed staff foster an environment where learners are encouraged to explore their passions, excel academically, and grow as individuals ready to make a difference. We inspire our learners to embody courage, integrity, and leadership, empowering them to achieve their fullest abilities both within and beyond the classroom.

Academics
It is our goal to reach every learner who enters the school, to try to ignite in them an intense desire to learn and to continue learning throughout their lives.
Education & Specialisation
In the first two years at Crestway (gr.8,9), learners are offered a general education, nine compulsory subjects: English, Afrikaans, Mathematics or mathematical literacy, Life Sciences, Life Orientation, Economic and Management Sciences, Arts and Culture, Technology, Geography and History.
Specialisation: From grades 10 to 12, learners begin to specialise, making a choice of three subjects from a variety of options (Life Sciences, Computer Technology, Geography, Consumers studies, History, Business studies and Accounting.) These three subjects are studied in conjunction with four core subjects: English (Home Language level or First Additional Language), Afrikaans (Home language level or First Additional Language level), Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, and Life Orientation.
Sport
Crestway High is serious about sport. We as a school firmly believes in inclusive education. It is for this reason that we offer and encourage competitive sport at Crestway. The lessons learnt from sport and competition are lessons for life. Learners need to be active and compete with each other. We play sport with pride and passion.

Facilities
Well-equipped facilities add to the atmosphere. Teachers and learners are already enjoying the facilities at the new Crestway High School. The new school was built to replace the old school buildings originally built out of asbestos, metal and wood.
New teaching facilities include:
• 30 standard classrooms
• 3 science laboratory rooms
• 2 multi-purpose classrooms
• a media centre
• a computer laboratory
• a consumer studies classroom
• a hall
• toilet facilities
• an administrative building
• caretaker’s facilities
